ALLISON PAO

Allison Pao ’21 grew up in New York City, moved to Nashville, TN, and spent the last three years in Basel, Switzerland. In Switzerland, she played with the Verbier Festival Junior Orchestra under the direction of conductors Daniel Harding and Joshua Weilerstein, won 1st prize with distinction at the 2016 Schweizer Jugend Musikwettbewerb (Swiss Youth Music Competition), and performed in three national concert tours with the Schweizer Jugend Sinfonieorchester (Swiss Youth Orchestra).

At Harvard, she's a freshman living in WIgglesworth, and she hopes to concentrate in the life sciences. She plays violin in the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra and the Brattle Street Chamber Players. She’s also a member of the classical music department of WHRB (Harvard Radio Broadcasting).
